2nd Time at the GMAT

by fangtray » Mon Jan 09, 2012 11:50 am
HI,

I took the GMAT September 22nd and received a score of 640. For me, that is not bad, not good. It was enough to get into the schools I wanted to go to. However, one school is offering that if I can raise my GMAT to 660, I have a good chance of receiving a scholarship for the program. So here I am again, this time, taking a gamble so that I am awarded money.

THe first time around, I just blindly went through the entire OG 12th book, and then did research online and realized that was not the best way to do it. Then I did the princeton review, and felt it was not a very good guide. I liked Manhattan GMAT, and I used their sentence correction guide, as well as PowerScore's Critical Reasoning Bible.

What I want now is a structured study plan. So that I can plan out my weeks and days and get organized. Is there a study guide or a "syllabus" that someone could share with me that has been very popular amonst test takers?

I just need to raise my score by 20 points, but studied so much my 1st time around that I am unsure if I can raise it.

THanks so much.

Ray
