Confusion in meaning...

The acrobatic show will begin at 6 p.m. and continue until audience interest lasts.

A. will begin at 6 p.m. and continue until audience interest lasts
B. begins at 6 p.m., continuing until audience interest lasts
C. will begin at 6 p.m. and, until audience interest lasts, will continue
D. begins at 6 p.m. and, as long as audience interest lasts, it continues
E. will begin at 6 p.m. and continue as long as audience interest lasts

Hi Expert,
According to GMAT Club, the correct answer is E. I am confused about the answer option given by GMAT Club. i can't accept their answer; I am with option A. I am giving an analogy, which will support the choice A not E. So, could you please help me by giving your explanation?
I'll boil water until rice is cooked.
>>if rice is cooked, then i'll stop boiling.

I'll boil water as long as rice is cooked.
>> after rice is cooked, i'll STILL boil the water. Every work has objective. Here, my objective is to cook rice. If my objective is successful, why will I carry on my works?
Thanks...

There is a difference in the meanings of the sentences.

In the actual question, answer A would mean the show would actually stop when the audience has sustained interest.

In your example, you have defined the meaning in that you will stop the water when the rice is cooked -- this makes sense.

if getting INTEREST (when all the peoples get interests !) is the CORE thing, WHY do people carry on show??
