Yes, Lovely Professional University is a good private university for the Civil Engineering programme. LPU offers BTech, MTech, and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. One of my best friends completed both BTech and MTech in Civil Engineering from LPU. He got placement as well while studying there.

Now he has started his own business of construction and earning well. Recently, he told me that he is planning for a part-time Ph.D. from LPU itself in Civil Engineering.

Civil engineering discipline empowers its students with state-of-the-art technologies and latest labs that are at par with international education standards. At LPU B Tech Civil is an engineering course that articulates the concepts from basic science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental, Highway Engineering, Construction Management which are in sync with industry expectations. One needs an aggregate of 60 percent with PCM in class 12. There are professionally trained faculty at LPU who impart both theoretical and practical knowledge for the holistic development of the students.
In addition to it, there is a dedicated department in LPU that looks into preparing students for placements. They train the students in verbal, analytical, and logical abilities. The university aims at bringing out the best in the student at the time of the interview.
School of Civil Engineering offers Contemporary Curriculum, Professional Enhancement, Industry Immersion, Domestic & International Projects, Regular Industrial Visit, Interdisciplinary Minors, Innovative Pedagogy.
