booth or kellogg

by andromeda_1 » Sat May 14, 2011 12:41 pm
Hi all,

I am in a good dilemma right now. I have been admitted to Chicago Booth and the Kellogg school of management for summer PT 2011. I love both schools and both were on the top of my list. I need to respond and choose one of them and though I love Booth's intellectual nous and focused approach to business problems, I also love Kellogg's collaborative and team based approach to resolve problems. I do not intend on moving towards Investment banking or equity or wall street. My career involves IT and involves working in nonprofit organizations. I am looking for General management skills along with improving my skills in strategy, organizational management, social enterprise and finance. Should I be looking at rankings at all? I love both schools and its a hard choice to cut one. Ideas?

I don't know that you can make a wrong decision with going to either Booth or Kellogg. These two schools are 1 and 1A when it comes to part-time programs. Personally, I think you should just go to the school you feel most comfortable with.
