Beat The GMAT $100K Challenge

by priya_kapoor » Fri Sep 10, 2010 8:34 am
Hi All -

I REALLY want to join the Beat The GMAT $100K Challenge community. My only problem is that my job is online marketing and all my family, friends AND coworkers are my FB friend. I'd love to detag them but it would be a lot. I want to join, is there a way to do it without having to register on Facebook and announcing that I am taking the GMAT? Let me know!

Thank you!

Best,
Priya

Hi Priya and Debmalya,

Thanks for your interest in the competition. Unfortunately, the only way to participate in the competition is to start by sharing with your Facebook friends. We may do another competition in the future that doesn't require connecting or sharing through FB. But for this one, you'll need to share in order to participate. Sorry!

On a lighter note, here are a few ideas about answers if someone asks you why you're participating :D

1. I've recently seen this movie called "The Naked Mile" and I want to see if colleges in the US are that crazy!

2. I've heard that Mark Zuckerberg is one of the most eligible bachelors and would love to see where he went to school. Maybe I can also find him around there somewhere and get him to marry me!

3. I've always wondered what the Bay Area weather is like!

4. I've heard some crazy stuff about the dorks in MIT and, since I am a proud dork myself, would love to visit our Mecca!

etc etc :)

Best of luck!
