Hey guys,

I want to beef up my business school application and was wondering if anyone had recommendations on what extracurricular activities I can participate in in the LA area. I'm interested in anything related to leadership development, nonprofit organizations, probono consulting, etc. Please let me know if any of you are involved or have heard of any such organizations. Thanks so much!

Check with local community non-profits such as the local chapter of Rotary Club International or even non-profit business networking clubs. Have you posted an inquiry on linkedin? That could get the ball rolling. Did you go to undergrad in Los Angeles? You might consider reaching out to your undergrad development team or alumni association for tips, or even contact alumni working in those areas directly. Even if you didn't go to school there, you could contact UCLA's Anderson school for leads. I am sure they would be more than happy to help.
