Admission Counsellor - New Delhi / NCR

by dj27007 » Sun Aug 12, 2012 10:33 pm
Hey guys, I am thinking for taking up an admission counsellor in New Delhi / NCR region. I have few in mind, so could anyone shed some light on any of the following counsellors.
>Access Education India - NOIDA
>Wisdom Mart - New Delhi
>Princeton review - New Delhi / NCR
>GoISB (For ISB Application)

Any inputs from the fellow members would be highly appreciated. Please feel free to put in your comments and also suggest any more counsellors you have on top of your mind.

Thanks!

Is there any specific reason you want to limit yourself to geographical boundaries? I, as well as many other admission consultants ,work online with applicants from all over the world with good success rate.So you may look for other options as well along with the ones you have listed.

Hey guys.. I thought I drop by and share about the counselor I took.
I went ahead with "mbadream.in" team, and believe me I couldn't have done better.

Just for reference, the advantages of their team:
- Essay editing is top of the notch! I read sample essays of various counselors but mbadream's essays were right on target and spicy.. Rahul and Megha do a great job at that.
- Amazing value for money: Those who are looking to apply at 4 or more universities should definitely look at their packages. You wont turn back for sure. They have very flexible packages for one or three schools as well.
- Great contacts and testimonials - The students who have been placed in top university with the help of mbadream are readily available to help and vouch for their services.

I am applying to various universities and still in process, but till now I am highly satisfied by their services. Drop a comment if you want any further information or rather just drop by at their website "mbadream.in" and call Rahul.

Hi DJ - How's your experience coming along with mbadream.in? Did you get through any of the colleges yet? Are you satisfied with mbadream? Please advise.

Hi Sundems,

Thought that I would also chip in on this one.
I took Mbadream.in's service and here are my views:-

- Rahul and Megha have excellent essay editing skills. Me and Divyanshu (dj) considered various options before finalizing on Mbadream. The sample essays that Rahul shared with us were of very high quality as compared to other counselors.
- Their services offer a great value for money. Most of the editors that we talked to were charging almost double the amount that Rahul charged us. Some of them (read as very very few) were close to Rahul's price but their services were neither as comprehensive nor as exciting as Mbadream's.
- One of the most important factor with Mbadream was their personal one-to-one counseling. Rahul has that ability to get the best out of you. Whenever I was in doubt, calling up Rahul gave me that extra push to write my matter more clearly and effectively.

I got selected into ISB and a great deal of credit goes to Rahul and Megha for the tremendous amount of effort that they put in to help me create my application. They were very patient, extremely helpful and very resourceful.
An added advantage of selecting their services is that they have contacts in a lot of top B schools. So once you get selected for an Interview, high chances are that Rahul would be able to set you up with one of his contacts (mostly current students) and you would have the opportunity to discuss and clarify any doubts that you might have.

Do reach out to them on their website and setup that first Skype call. Do feel free to contact me if you have any more queries!

Thanks
Anubhav

Thanks a lot for your valuable inputs, Anubhav.
Also, congratulations on your admission to ISB!

Where is mbadream based? In Delhi/NCR?

Thanks

Anubhav - May I know what all colleges mbadream helped you apply to? Did you get call from any other apart from ISB? Could please share your GMAT score/profile with me?
Which college has Divyanshu got admission to? Do you personally know anyone else who took mbadream's assistance in the application process?
Can you recall atleast one point in which mbadream could do better? Please share any cons of going with mbadream, if any.
I have secured 740 in GMAT and have 5.5 yrs of IT experience, and running short on time for applying to US universities in Round 2. So, I want to be thorough before selecting any consultant.

Thanks for all your help.
