Store S sold a total of 90 copies of a certainb book during the seven days of last week. Different number each day. Greatest number of copies on Sat and second greatest on Fri. Did store sell more than 11 books on Friday?
1. 8 copies were sold on Thurs
2. 38 copies were sold on Sat

1) Doesnt give much info. We do not know whether thursday is the third greatest.
2) Sat sells 38. Assume that friday sells 11. The maximum the 6 days(excluding sat) can sell = 11+10+9+8+7+6 = 51. total in the week = 51+38 = 89 less than 90. So Friday should have sold more than 11.

May be E? Because we don't have information about the row of numbers on Monday, Thusday ect. It may be like praky_rules said - 6,7,8,9,10, but may be different. We just know that: "Different number each day".
