I just got my butt kicked

by dszukics » Tue Apr 15, 2008 5:48 pm
I just finished my second GMAT experience. I thought I was very well prepared, having just taken a Veritas weekend course. I actually did worse than my first time around. My breakdown is as followed:
1st FEB V:21 M:31 460
2nd APR V:20 M:32 450
I started preparing back in January. I started with the OG 11 and completed all of the questions. I thought I needed something more, so I signed up for the princeton review online. After my horrible first experience, I decided to sign up with Veritas. It was a seven week course on the weekends. I thought the course was good. I felt a lot more confident going into the 2nd exam. I felt focused and I thought I did much better. Apparently not!

I took several practice exams:
GMAT I: 500
GMATII: 510
Veritas: 560
Veritas: 540
Kaplan: 510
Princeton Review:490
800 Score: 540

I am not going to let this test beat me! I am going to take a few days off and start practicing again. My target is high 5's to 6. I know I can do it.

How do I break the 30 range on Q? Any suggestions for V? I would like to get in the 30's.

Thanks for everyones support and any suggestions!
