Interview with Richard Ivey and Schulich

by dc1234 » Fri Oct 26, 2012 8:54 am
Hey all;

I have been asked to interview with the above mentioned schools. Just wanted to know what to expect on my interviews from those who interviewed with these schools in the past or just general stuff that i should know.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Can surely help you on generic but important interview tips.

1) Wrote about leverageing pre MBA experience in B-school interviews:

2) Something on essays, but will give you some speech capital for interviews:

Hi DC1234,

I have just been offerred admission to Richard Ivey for the Spring 2013 intake but I dont know if it is a good enough college to join. I have a GMAT of 730 and didnt do much research before applyng. can you please tell me your opinion - do you think it is worth joining? Why or why not?
I had applied to Columbia Business School also but didnt make it there and I havent applied tp any other colleges as yet.

Would appreciate your inputs.

I have been accepted to Ivey and will be attending in 2013. From my research, Ivey is arguably the best program in Canada. So I think Ivey is a good choice. I also got into Schulich, but I heard mix reviews there, but im sure its good in its own way.

So come Join me at Ivey. Let me know cause Ivey stresses on networking that I am already in contact with Alumni, current students and been out for dinner/drinks with my future classmates. So far I am impressed with the program and it hasn;t even started. Let me know if you have any other questions.
