I am getting 2*2*2 =8 as the answer.

What is the correct answer?

Your answer is correct, can u elaborate a bit on d logic used.

for each of the 3 employees, there are 2 choices- office 1 or office 2; therefore, 2*2*2=8 possibilities

Hi,

would like to understand why we have overlooked " some offices can be empty" clause . Inorder to keep offices empty, either all the three employess should be put into office 1 or office 2. So why the answer shouldn't be 2
