Ok here is my dilemma,

I took the Kapline online GMAT, got a 620 (Am happy with that score)..took 2 of the 4 Practice tests, got a 540 and 520 respectively..not so good. The problem is I have been taking the Kaplan online database and am getting a very high percentage (70-80%) right on almost all categories.

Now I know that the Kaplan tests tend to be scored alot lower, but one thing I have noticed is the wording on the online questions (Both the verbal and math) is much easier to comprehend then the ones on the CD. Does anyone have an idea as to which is more representative of the actual GMAT?

Also I noticed that the CD practice tests had alot more Geometry then the online version...not a fan of Geometry as I have been working for 7 years and have not had to find an angle of a triangle or the area of a square once..

I heard the similar reviews about Kaplan online test, bit easier than CD tests.

I'd take CAT tests for practise, irrespective of results they show as they are good for practise and help us to prepare for real 4 hours test. Dont take it to gauge where you stand but take it just for the practise.

GMAT Prep has similar algorithm of CAT to the real GMAT test; therefore it can be a good indicator of your standing but for other CAT tests: take them just for practise.
