Hi,
Since GMAT paper tests and powerprep are pretty old, which official material best reflects the current questions that are asked?
My personal thinking is in decreasing order of relevance:
Question pack1
OG 13 newly added questions
GMATPREP database
GMAT Focus(even though there is plenty of overlap)
OG old editions
Paper tests.
Do u agree with this?
Thanks,
Shreeraj

Hello, Shreeraj! All Official GMAT products use real, retired GMAT questions, so in that sense none of the materials should be considered outdated. There have been no changes to the Quant or Verbal sections of the exam, so any OG materials covering those sections are still valid study guides. You are correct that only our most recent study materials include IR questions, and reflect the change to the AWA section, which eliminated Analysis of an Issue essay.
I hope that answers your question.

The reason i asked this question is coz earlier ETS used to conduct tests and thus OG 10,OG11 would be having retired questions of those tests conducted by ETS.
Now that Pearson conducts the exam, dont u think OG 13 will be more representative than other materials?
Do u think practicing from say OG 10 adds value or is waste of time?
Thanks,
Shreeraj

The switch from ETS to Pearson Vue did not affect the GMAT exam questions, so any OG materials are still valid to use for study.
Thanks for asking!
