Hello Friends,
I am planning to take my GMAT in December this year and apply for a B-School whose First Deadline is in March Last week (INSEAD Jan 2008 batch).
How much time would it generally take to prepare for the applications? Since taking GMAT is also a big task, I was thinking of concentrating on GMAT ONLY first, till december and then once GMAT is through, I will have about 2-3 months to prepare for essays, references and transcripts. Would that be correct plan? Or do I have to start on my application process now it self ?
Please guide!!
Thanks and regards,
Nikhil
When to start application processes ?

Hi Nikhil:
I've moved your post to Stacy Blackman's area--she is the MBA expert on this forum, so she would be able to better address your question.
My sense though is that 2-3 months may be sufficient to prepare for your applications. Stacy, your thoughts?
Thanks very much!

You can always use more time, but 2-3 months is certainly a reasonable time frame for 1 school, especialy with the GMAT completed. I agree that it is nice to focus on one thing at a time.
