Hi,

I read the forum, but this is my first time writing.

I'm getting ready to take the GMAT a 3rd time, and would like some advice.

My first two scores on the real test are
610(Q37,V37) taken June 2007
640(Q45,V33) taken Jan 2008

I've started studying again because the program I want to get into has an average gmat score of about 670. Last year I applied and interviewd and was put on the waiting list but in the end I didn't get into the program. They said please reapply with a higher GMAT score ~~;;

So i've been studying for about 2 months (I have a full time job with long hours, a wife, and a small baby that I need to balance my time between ^^) I have about 5 weeks of studying before I plan on taking the test again but i'm a little worried about the chances of me improving my score.

I haven't taken any classes or anything I just use books. I have been through the Kaplan and Princeton Review books and I am working on the OG. The second time i took the Gmat i really focused on the Quantative because I thought my verbal was okay.

Sooo, sorry about that just wanted to give some background info. Last two times I studied I didn't take any practice tests I just used the books. (I didn't do any of the practice tests in the books either).

This time after reading the form I've decided to take practice tests to monitor my progress.

I took one MGMAT test and did horrible... (I think the Quant section is substantial harder than the real test... maybe i'm wrong).

Took the GmatPrep test #2 and got a 640 (Q37, V40) that was last week.
(I didn't finish the last 10 questions of the Quant because my pacing was really off)

So this week i worked on doing OG problems to build up speed and took the PowerPrep test #1 and got a 640 (Q37, V40) exactly the same...

I need to improve my Q back to 42 or above and would just like some advice ^^ what can i do in the next 5 weeks?

Thanks alot

Chris
