I think 120(6)x is in fact 120*6^x. If yes, then we have to get the value of x. Once we get the value of we get the value of 120*6^x.M7MBA wrote:What is the value of 120(6)x?

Question rephrased: What's the value of x?
(1) 2x^2 + 18 = −12x
Diving both the sides by 2, we get x^2 + 9 = −6x => x^2 + 6x + 9 = 0 => (x + 3)^2 = 0 => x = -3. We get the unique value of x. Sufficient.
(2) x < 0
Can't get the value of x. Insufficient.
The correct answer: A
