Hi august4:

If you are interested in taking advantages of scholarships, I think it would be best for you to apply to business schools in the first round (most b-schools accept first round apps during October). Try take your GMAT before October.

My recommendation would be to take the test in August--doing so will give you time to prepare some more if you have to take the test a second time, prior to submitting your apps.

Best of luck!

Do you need this passport because you don't have any other form of identification?

Sorry to hear about your situation, aim-wsc. If there is nothing you can do to speed up the processing, then keep reviewing your material and doing practice tests consistently. It's important that you stay fresh on your studies. Don't hesitate to repeat practice questions/tests that you have already done--I think you will find that you can learn a lot going through them a second time around.

Best of luck!
