Hello Amy,
I wanted to know if you have any idea about Pepperdine University(Graziadio Business School). Its in Malibu and has quite a reputation as a business school.I have applied to the following schools also:-

University of Pittsburg(Katz)
Texas Christian University(Neeley)

Well here is something about myself:-

I am 21, Indian and a Bachelors in Business Administration.

I had sent my credentials to WES for evaluation and the report says that I have a GPA of 3.70.

I started working from May 2007 as a Management Trainee at a Asset Management Company here in India, so by fall 2008 I would have 15 months of work experience.

Scored a 600 on the GMAT after some decent preparation.

My aim is to be a Portfolio Manager in the short term and want to start my own asset management firm in the future.

My areas of interest are Finance and Entrepreneurship

Can you please tell me what my chances are of getting into the schools I have listed above.I have applied for the first deadline of all these schools for the FULL TIME MBA PROGRAM.

Thank You

Hi Maxx,

Do you have any work experience? Your work experience is a bit brief for full time programs in general. I don't know what the specific requirements are for those three programs.

I think Pepperdine is a great regional program, so probably best for someone with a goal to stay in Southern California. I believe the other two have similar profiles for their respective regions.

Good luck!

Amy

Hi Maxx,

Yes, I think you have a reasonable shot - I would suggest thinking about your career goals and whether a regional US program is the right option.

Good luck!

Amy
