The answer must be C, because:

Let assume that the college has
Males: 100M
Females: 100F
Total: 100M+100F

A) 33M + 20F = another college...(we donot have the data how many are from other college).. Hence in sufficient.

B) 25M+25F= another college.... again we donot have the data(breakup) of the other college..hence in sufficient.

Now combining both of them we have:
33M + 20F = 25M+25F
9M=5F

The ratio can be calculated now...

Hence the anwer is C..

It be nice if you could explain the above,

shouldn't this be

33M + 20F = 25% of entire graduating class.

Thanks

25 % of entire graduating class.

Now we have assumed that entire graduting class= 100M + 100F.

So, 25 % of entire graduating class comes to be = 25M + 25F...Hope this helps..
