how vital are the no of attempts?

hi,
i took my gmat yesterday and scored a bad score of 450.i want to retake gmat.whether this first attempt score of 450 will create a negative impression on my profile even if i score better in second attempt?

Nah. I mean its better when you do better. But as long as you get that higher grade, you will be in better shape.
