Hello All,

When dealing with CR questions that are more layered than normal, it's important to pay attention to language/ideas used in the prompt. This will help you to avoid tempting, but incorrect answers.

Here, we're asked to Explain why solar power (specifically NEW SOLAR POWER PLANTS) isn't as economically viable compared to oil (specifically NEW OIL-FIRED POWER PLANTS). We're also told that tech improvements and reduced equipment costs make solar power cheaper than before.

As a prediction, since we know that solar is cheaper, but it's not more viable, then we'll need an answer that addresses how oil is cheaper. HOWEVER, we still have to stick with the specifics of the prompt: NEW SOLAR POWER PLANTS and NEW OIL-FIRED POWER PLANTS.

Take a good look at answers A and C again and you'll see which one is correct.
