Dear Shivaankar,

You have a competitive profile for any program. However, decisions are made on more than a profile. Consequently, you need an outstanding total package that makes a compelling case for your admission over the numerous other applicants. Your education and experience are quite common in the global applicant pool; thus you must find a way to distinguish yourself in the eyes of the admissions committees. Finally, your school list is all top 15 programs. These are highly selective schools, so I would not consider any a "safe" option for an applicant. I encourage you to focus on your school list a bit more to 4-6 of this level of program and add 2-3 schools outside the top 20 for your safety options.

Good luck,
Lisa
