I was practicing CR questions from OG and I came across these sentences in Answer Choices. I am confuse about what actually below sentences refer to - Premise, Conclusion or Anti - Premise,etc.
1. support a position that the argument as a whole opposes;
2. provides evidence to undermine the support for the position being opposed.
3. provides evidence to support an explanation that the argument favors;
What does these sentences mean

Although I might be wrong, I would still like to give it a shot. (:
Premise, Conclusion or Anti - Premise,etc.
Position = Conclusion.
Premise supports its conclusion
evidence = fact = premise.
and since its is weakening the conclusion it should be Anti- premise.
support an explanation -> Support the conclusion -> premise
