I am looking to get into either Cornell,NYU,Harvard,MIT,PENN,COLUMBIA.

Your GMAT score is strong and your GPA within range. However, your work experience is very light. Unless you have had significant success with your own firm, you will be at a disadvantage when applying to the schools on your list. I don't get a sense from your post of why you want to go to business school or what you want to do long term. The top schools are very interested in those aspects and without clear goals your chances will be reduced. Also, without a career goal, you are picking schools based solely on their rank - a weak strategy at best. You need to know why you want an MBA and what you want to do with it so that you can pick a school that will meet your individual needs.

An experienced admissions consultant such as those at Kaplan can certainly help you refine your goals and put together the strongest possible case for your candidacy.

Good luck,
