i got an offer from Fordham (MBA in Public Accounting)
the question is...when I contacted their financial aid dept to ask about the scholarship offer, I was told that they make their decisions in Sep, which is after admitted applicants accept the offer...I find this a bit unusual compare to other schools I applied to where they offer scholarship along with the admissions...because wouldn't the students want to make the decisions based on financial situation as well?
anyone has any idea?
question about scholarship offer

I am not a financial aid expert, but this sounds very strange. I think you should call the financial aid department back and explain to them that the scholarship offer is a critical criterion in your decision to enroll, and that you would like an answer much sooner than September. I think that this is quite reasonable.
Good luck, and please let us know how this goes!

thanks eric!
so i took your advice and contacted a specific person @ financial aid office...via email...
and i got the same answer.
so unfortunately, fordham offers scholarship to enrolled students in September...looks like it'll be a tough choice to make without knowing how much of financial aid I'm offered...
