BOOM! I beat it! 730, first time

I'm applying this year in Round 2. Just took the GMAT. Killed it: 730 (49Q, 44V)

I studied like crazy. Bought the Kaplan book and flash cards at Barnes & Noble. Did every problem I could. Took all the free tests I could get my hands on. Took the 7 that came with Kaplan. Took the two that came with the GMAT registration last. Got a 750 and a 720 on those.

Study hard. You can do it!

Also, solidarity to all those applying in their 30's. If you had advice for those that are graying, post a comment.

congratulations, that's a great score. and if you normalize that by age, your score will likely scale up further!!! ;)
interesting that you did not mention OG's or MGMAT in your review...

Good luck on the business school application.

am in my early 30's too btw.

Nailed it! Congrats, Anglo36yo!

Could you please tell us a bit of your background? Humanities, science, engineering, IT? Always good at math / comfortable with numbers.. etc etc.

Good luck on your applications!
