Hey Raja,
Good to hear from you!!!
Well the first thing is to consider whether you should or should not retake the GMAT. If you seriously think you can get a higher score, I would advise it. Have a look at this article here: https://admissionado.com/mba/to-retake-o ... n=mba_blog

If not, then I think from what I can see in your profile (which is hard to say because I am missing lots of detail) that you would be good for schools in about the 20-40 ranking (Im talking about the US here)

If you have any more specific questions feel free to fill out a form for a full on profile evaluation:

Thanks Jon for the kind advise.
Apologies that I missed to add my linkedin profile link to give complete information about myself which should have helped you to review my profile more closely.
If you got some time, please have a look at it and advise what other component I can add my profile apart from GMAT score.

But frankly speaking, I am very much confused right now. When everything boils down to GMAT score then what does holistic evaluation means. My Quant score is on lower side as I already mentioned due to penalty for auto submission of GMAT exam but I do have the capability to show my quantitative skill with Marks in maths in academics.

Hey there Raja,
so to answer your question, everything does not boil down to GMAT. And yes, a candidate can get in with a GMAT that is even 50 points lower than the average, but their profile is going to be super unique or awesome. We are talking about people who work for presidential campaign offices, or who have founded big startups, or have done amazingly well in bulge bracket banks or whatever... And then the schools are more forgiving with the GMAT.

I think actually the correct way to think of the GMAT is a threshold to break for a particular school. In your case unfortunately, because of the HUGE size of the pool from which you are applying, the school will have many choices of folks with higher GMATs, higher GPAs,and who graduated from stronger schools.

And my advice to you is again to get the GMAT higher if you can. Because at this point you can't change your GPA or your school or your work experience, but the GMAT is the one major thing you CAN change.

I hope this makes more sense.

Best,
Jon
