Early Career Applicant- India

I am a 21 year old student trying for early career admissions at Top 10 US Schools in 2009 fall.

Can you comment upon my chances realistically.. Also since I have 10 months before I apply for MBA are there any further options which might help my applications..

Background: I hail from the most backward districts in India, qualified for the top ranked high-school and then the best undergrad college for commerce in India. Have a good leadership, research, academic, ECA & social service record.

Doubtful about an early career admit since I have no full time work experience

GMAT: 760
Advanced Diploma in Chinese Language & Business (900 hrs of classes)- Rank 1

Undergrad: Top ranked business/commerce undergrad course in India (SRCC Delhi). 70% (Top 5% in final year) - Majors: Finance & Investment, CFA Level 1 cleared

Top 1% of country in high-school

Internships:
• Worked on World Economic forum- India Summit 2008
• Interning with a Member of Parliament for a year. Project: Commonwealth Games 2010
Research:
• Ranked #1 among undergraduate teams, Top 5 globally at IIM Ahmedabad Confluence 2007 (largest B School summit in Asia) research contest with 80 teams from IIMs, ISB, LBS, Chicago GSB etc competing.
• 3 out of 6 models suggested were adopted within 12 months of the paper.
Leadership:
• Head of the largest debating event in India. Record finances on campus.
• Head of largest business-cum-cultural event in India. Raised record finances despite the 2008 meltdown.

ECA: 60+ varied national/international events- Debating (Have debated & won against 70 B Schools at IIMA Confluence 2006), Quizzing, Writing (Columnist for a financial newspaper) etc.

Social Service: Worked for Right to Information Act 2005 specific NGO, led to HUGE IMPACT in public projects with very heavy positive media coverage on varied issues.

Can you comment upon my chances.. Also since I have 10 months before I apply for MBA are there any further options which might help my applications..

Please comment..
