Hi,

I have submitted R1 applications to HBS and Booth.

1. Is there a way that I may request these schools to consider my GMAT score post submission at this stage?
2. What about requesting them to unsubmit my app for R1 and allow me to apply in R2 so that I may submit my new GMAT score?

Any possible suggestions?

Thanks

To answer your questions:
1. You retake and get a better score, you can and should let them know about it. They do not have to take it into consideration though.
2. Don't even think about trying this... :)

Best,
Jon

Congrats. I answered your post via email but just wanted to chime in to let others know. Definitely email the school your GMAT as an update per the school's FAQs or instructions in other places. Almost every school has language giving you a window to send in any material updates to your application, such as job changes.

Per John's feedback the school does not have to take it into consideration, but they might. And if your email is written in the proper tone without any expectations, then you will not be doing anything improper that will hurt your application.

Best of luck,
