B) Correct: the similarity between the subject area and Ireland would support the peat harvesting in the area (as in Ireland)
C) "other industries""is irrelevant here, since we are talking about the impact of peat harvesting on the water supply
D) opposite choice: this might weaken the argument
E) irrelevant
