In the xy plane, the line with eqn., ax+by+c=0, where abc is not equal to 0, has slope 2/3. WHat is the value of b?
1) a = 4

1) a = 4
2) c= -6 |
ax + by + c = 0
so y = -(a/b)x + c/b
-(a/b) = 2/3
1) a = 4. So b can be obained. SUFF
2) c = -6. Irrelevant info. INSUFF
Answer is A |
