USC MAcc with low GPA

by kevinjstoner » Fri May 29, 2015 4:44 pm
Hi, I really want to go to USC to get my masters in Accounting and am not sure what my chances are so would really like feedback.
My GPA is a 3.0( I got a 1.3 two semesters ago since I was hospitalized for a couple months but I got a 3.95 this last semester)
I am getting a BA in Finance and a BS in Accounting
my GMAT score is a 710

So any idea what my chances are? Should I retake GMAT to try to score even higher?

Thank you in advance for all help.

Given the rest of your profile, I don't think that gpa is a total deal breaker. How are the other parts of your application? You might even consider retaking the test if you think you raise your score by 20 or more points. You could also look at the classes you did poorly in and try to retake them quickly at community college.
