I went to Temple University, Fox School of Business undergrad.
I chose Temple because of $ and family tradition (mom, dad, older brother) but now that it is time for my MBA, I am starting regret my decision to attend and not explore better schools.....
I graduated magna cum laude with a 3.56 cum gpa, 3.93 major gpa (marketing), and close to 4.0 for the final two years. I also have a balanced gmat of 700, Q47, V40, AWA5. I think my academic ability will not be put into question.
I will be applying to one top 10 and five 10-25 programs (hopefully all in the first round if I can produce all six quality applications...if not, I will do a couple in round 2).
I already received numerous profile evaluations for my extended profile. I am more interested in how my undergrad brand will be viewed. Will it hurt my chances? |

Dear raabenb,
I do not think Temple hurts you at all. You have excellent grades and a strong GMAT score demonstrating your academic aptitude.
Regards,
