UC-Dever vs. Arizona State???? Opinions!!!! Post Wed Apr 25, 2012 11:14 pm
So I've just been accepted at University of Colorado-Denver and Arizona State University and I need some help with my decision.

Let me give you some context. I was born and raised in Broomfield, CO, then moved to Pueblo West before high school. I attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and graduated in 2010 with an Economics degree. Since then, I've been working as a stock broker in the Denver Tech Center. Both schools would allow me to keep my job and go to school part-time (which makes financial sense for me). What do you guys think about the two different programs? Financially, UC-D makes more sense, but it's not even ranked. ASU's evening program is 21st in the Nation, but it's also about $20k more expensive. Also, this may seem kind of crazy but the thought of being a sundevil really comes against my Buff pride!

On a personal note, I'm a little freaked out by the thought of moving out to Phoenix and living on my own without anyone I know even remotely close by. I'm really close with my parents still in Colorado.... And I don't think it'll be quite the same as my undergrad where you're living with people in the dorms who are also trying to make friends. I'm 24, and I'll admit that I'm not the most emotionally stable or level-headed guy out there. I think that there's a good chance I could fall on my face!

I'm interested in everyone's opinions on the different programs and the dilemma I'm facing.

Thanks!
