we finally chose the cofee table towards the back of the store,which we thought would comlement our living room furniture


we finally chose the cofee table towards the back of the store,because we thought it would comlement our living room furniture


well can eomeone help me out here y statement 1 wrong and 2 correct?if i m not wrong then which is ambigous coz it may apply to store and table both rite?but y not it is ambiguous here?or is my logic faulty?someone plz clarify

here it refers to board rite?but donn we generallt use it to refer to nonhuman things? Idea

we finally chose the cofee table towards the back of the store,which we thought would comlement our living room furniture.

In the above sentence since which is close to store, it reads
Quote:
the store would complement our living room furniture
. Hence incorrect.

I don't know the credibility of the second since i feel it is confusing at that place since the antecedent is not clear coffee table or store.
