I have a question :-
As I understand there are total 41 in Quant and 37 in Verbal. (some of these are experimental questions and are not used in scoring). Is this correct ?
I see lots of post which have - "750(Q-50, V41) Hard work paid" OR
"760 (Q-50, V-42)"
Whats the 50 and 41 supposed to be in this against Q and V.. no of questions??
-Reply Awaited

Straight from the source: http://www.mba.com/mba/TaketheGMAT
The scores you see for each section are the raw scores calcuated based on your performance. It's not based directly on the number of questions you got right, but more tied to how many difficult questions you got correct. Easy questions score less than hard questions.
I know, it's a little confusing. Each section is supposed to be scored out of 60 points, but that's a little misleading. From what I've seen, an 800 score would be:
51 Quant
50 Verbal _________________ Eric
