Hello,
It has been a while since I have posted in this site...work had me too busy and I am falling behind in my GMAT prep Sad. I am sure that there are lots of folks here who work full time and still managed to OWN the GMAT. I am looking for some tips on study plan etc...

Typically I travel 2 weeks a month (it is all together i.e. I stay in the hotel for 5-6 consecutive days). I lost continuity in my prep and now it has taken a backseat. I want to give the exam by Feb'09 and apply for Fall 2011 ( is that too late for giving the Gmat??).

Any tips from the GMAT gods are much appreciated Smile

Thanks in advance Smile

You should get the right resources first:
- GMATprep software from mba.com
- the Official Guide and maybe the verbal/quant supplements
- strategy guides for problem spots (i.e. the MGMAT SC guide or the PowerScore CR Bible)

Making up a plan really depends on two things: the amount of time you can afford to spend daily and the type of learner you are. Whatever you choose (for instance, this was the post that inspired my plan), you really need to stick to it. NO EXCUSES OR PROCRASTINATING!

Apart from the above link, you could also try:
-studying for one section each day and alternating
-studying two or three sections a day, with something like an hour for each (depending on time)

Good luck!

Thanks a lot Dana for your feedback...

I do have the following books..

MGMAT SC
Kaplan Premier edition
EZ solution (3 books on math)
OG11 (all three)
OG12 -> I got this since the MGMAT books originally said that they now referred to the OG12 but they were wrong!!. MGMAT books still refer to the page numbers of OG11!!!) Sad

Anyways..In your opinion are those books good enough from a content perspective?. as anyone I prefer quality over quantity and hence my question.

Thanks so much for your earlier posts and link..That was simply amazing!!!!!

I guess I'd only add the PowerScore CR Bible if you're having trouble with CR and RC (you'll find some tips for RC in that one). The rest should cover it.
