Study Schedule Suggestions?

by gmatstic » Wed Jan 17, 2007 3:28 pm
I've been rescheduling my GMATs forever!! I took them for the first time in November and scored a 570, and wanted to improve my scored to atleast a 650.

I'm scheduled to take the test next Saturday but don't feel like am prepared, but I also feel completely burned out. So I'm thinking of rescheduling my exam for mid Feb. Does anyone have a suggested study schedule (including materials to review and when)? I work 10-6 and am free on the weekends to study. I really want to improve my score in the next 4 weeks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi gmatstic:

I recommend that you take a look at the new GMAT Resource Wiki (https://www.beatthegmat.com/wiki). Examine the listed resources available on Beat The GMAT--there are some references for how you can create a study schedule and what you can do if you have time constraints.

Best of luck!

You will need to find some time on weekdays to study. Just doing it on the weekends is not going to help you improve. Do a little before you go to work, like maybe an hour, and then another hour in the evening.

It is really important to carve out time to study during the weekdays as well. A successful GMAT study strategy includes consistent practice/review.
