Hi,

So I took the plunge last week and got a 690. Unfortunately, this is a bit lower than my practice tests which were around 710-720. Here is my breakdown:

Q47, V38, IR8, AWA Expecting between 5-6

Q47 is the best I've done on quant. However, my verbal was weak as I'm normally around 40-42 and really screwed up timing during this section.

I know this is difficult but given the rest of my profile, should I retake the GMAT and try to break 700? Or is the time better spent on apps?

- 27 year old male, native English speaker
- GPA: 3.24 from a top 25 school (had some setbacks during my junior and senior years but did well in quant heavy courses). Was premed and economics major.
- Work experience: 5 years. Currently, I am a management consultant and will be receiving sponsorship from my firm.
- Good leadership and management experiences
- Expecting solid recommendation letters
- Started a volunteer organization in college but have not had much time for community service since then
- Target schools: Fuqua, Sloan, Kellogg, Ross, Haas, Stanford

What do you think? Any feedback would be much appreciated!
