Dear everybody,

I am an international MBA 2008 applicant. I took GMAT a # of times and unfortunately, am continue scoring low, lower than I would like to. Therefore, I am turning to your for an advice. I am considering taking a GMAT prep course.

Can anybody please give a solid assessment (with data if possible) of how effective the GMAT prep courses can be? How significantly they help to raise the score? I know only three: Kaplan, Princeton Preview, and Manhattan GMAT that provide the courses. Those who have taken a course (of any length) with any of those agencies, I would appreciate immensely you sharing your experience and the end-result.

Thank You in advance,

It seems like self-study has not been a good option for you in the past--a professional prep program may be a good alternative for you. Dig into this forum a little and you will find a lot of assessments on the value of the various programs. In general, most people I've seen who have reported taking a professional prep program have not regretted it.

I'm probably biased, but my recommendation is to take Manhattan GMAT's course; there are a lot of strong promoters of their services in this community. Plus, as a Beat The GMAT member you can get a 10% discount on their class, http://www.beatthegmat.com/discounts.html

Good luck!
