If d is the standard deviation of X,Y,Z.What is the standard deviation of X+5,Y+5,Z+5??

1--d
2--3d
3--15d
4--d+5
5--d+15

Guys I am totally confused about standard deviation. But I am getting a SD math in every powerprep exam. So,it likey to be there in the actual xam too..
Plss tell me how to solve this///
Regards..

The answer is A.

Since the three numbers rise by exactly the same amounts their standard deviation will also be the same.
If you want to check on that, try calculating SD of (1,2,3) and (6,7,8). you'll get the same SD. i.e. 1.3/1.7
