Can someone explain why it is not "C"? That answer appears to be the most concise.

B&C are totally absurd.........bcoz there's nothing like prime............primer is a substance used to coat on walls before paint.....

Ans should should be from D&E....

C says, "it, then prime it, then paint it "... so it includes the order of operations for painting ... "sand it, then prime it, then paint it." Again, what is wrong with that sentence?

I ll go with a as pronoun error does n't exist in the iriginal sentence as it clearly refers to surface.
A is most appro....rest all are wordy..

i have simply choosen A and found the Oa is A.

it refers to the rough surface so we dont need to use surface again

option A is simple and concise
