still i'm kinda confused about this question.. alright with A the sentence stays in present tense.. but due to the presence of since 1890, i thought 'has been' needs to be there.. any cogent explanations, pls? |

| I will go with D because there is "since", the action should be continuing. Atleast that's my take. What's the answer please? |

hello,
I am just curious about this question.
should there be any conjunction or a comma between"A March 2000 Census Bureau survey showed that Mexico accounted for more than a quarter of all foreign-born residents of the United States " and "the largest share for any country to contribute since 1890," ??
Can anyone explain this ?
Regards,
Vignesh |
