Researchers at Cornell University have demonstrated that homing pigeons can sense changes in the earth’s magnetic field, see light waves that people cannot see, detect low-frequency sounds from miles away, sense changes in air pressure, and can identify familiar odors.

    (A) sense changes in air pressure, and can identify familiar odors
    (B) can sense changes in air pressure, and can identify familiar odors
    (C) sense changes in air pressure, and identify familiar odors
    (D) air pressure changes can be sensed, and familiar odors identified
    (E) air pressure changes are sensed, and familiar odors identified

    OA for this one?

@Monkey, I hope to learn how to underlined related phrases in the sentences so that each of us can understand the sentence better. Please let us know if you do not know how to do.

And as another common tradition in BTg; if you post a SC question, you either give the OA with a spoiler in the question (code that you can hide the answer) or wait for others to comment, and then [you] post the OA afterwards. The latter would let us discuss and see whether we solved it right.

By the way, OA for this question is C based on http://gmatclub.com/forum/easy-one-researchers-at-cornell-university-have-30980.html
