    You will definitely be better off with a good grammar handbook. Spidey's Notes are too broad in scope and terribly disorganised, and it contains several erroneous assumptions.

    You'd also be better off looking through Writer's Handbooks - The Chicago Manual of Style is one and the Elements of style by Strunk and White is another. There's others, but the key is to get your grammar basics nice and solid before you decide to start learning any rules of grammar.
