(1) √(x²) = 4
(2) (√x)² = 4
Statement 1 can lead to x = 4 or -4 so not NOT SUFFICIENT.
Statement 2 leads to (√x)² = 4 to x= 4 by cancelling square with square root. since x can't be -4
so x = 4 so SUFFICIENT.
Answer is B
