Hi, there. I'm happy to add my 2¢. 
First of all, here's a blog about GRE vs. GMAT

My personal feeling is -- the GMAT is a harder test, so stick with that --- you want to show the business schools you can excel on the harder test. Hold yourself to the higher standard, so they feel they can hold you to a higher standard. That's the way to impress.
Second, if you do decide to take the GMAT again then
1) you will need to consider Integrated Reasoning. Here's a free IR eBook I wrote:

2) If you decide to to the GMAT again, I highly recommend Magoosh.
