Remainder problem

  • Lap #[LAPCOUNT] ([LAPTIME])
    N is divisible by 5, what is the remainder of N when divided by 6?

    1) when N is divided by 4, remainder is 3
    2) when 3N is divided by 12, remainder is 3


    I think it's E, anybody seeing any other possibilities?

    1) N= 15, 35, 55, 75, 95,.......
    R(BY 6)=3,5,1.....
    INSUFFICIENT

    2) N=5, 25, 45, 65
    R(BY 6)= 5, 1, 3....
    INSUFFICIENT

    BY 1 +2
    INSUFFICIENT
