With a strong study strategy and some discipline, you could study on your own and do very well on the GMAT. To see an example of what one successful self-study schedule could look like, please visit my GMAT blog, http://beatthegmat.blogspot.com.

Otherwise, if you've already decided to take a course, I recommend Manhattan GMAT. Fantastic instructors and materials.

The Beat The GMAT Scholarship competition is currently running, and I encourage you to apply--this could be one way for you to take Manhattan GMAT for free! Visit: http://www.beatthegmat.com/scholarship/

Best of luck!

Do some digging on the forum(s) and use the search feature...you'll probably find a lot of comments about courses.

My experience with Princeton Review has been excellent (online course). The materials are awesome, and the instructors are very helpful.

I ruled out Kaplan (they don't even mention the Official Guide, a must for practice) but some say Manhattan GMAT is good, although not as widely available as PR or Kaplan.

Hi tali-p,
I would take the Manhattan GMAT virtual online course. Virtual means that there are live instructors teaching the course, it is not a recording. The classes are very interactive and engaging, too. If you need a well designed, structured study plan, I would definitely take that course. If you do all of the work that they assign you, I am sure that you won't be disappointed. Manhattan GMAT is the best test prep company around.
By the way, I believe that the Manhattan GMAT online course is available to anyone who has a PC and an internet connection.
Greg

Thanks for the plug, Greg. Smile

Yes, we are just as available as any company out there (if not more so) b/c we have live virtual classes. You can attend from anywhere in the world as long as you can connect! In one class, I've had students from India, Australia, South Africa, Germany, UK... (and North America, of course).
