Can anyone explain this to me? My math is rusty at this point.

For which of the following fuctions is f(a+b)=f(a)+f(b)

a) f(x)=x^2
b) f(x)=x+1
c)f(x)=x^1/2
d) f(x)=2/x
e) f(x)=-3x

If we go with E, it says -
f(a)=-3a
f(b)=-3b
So f(a) + f(b) = -3(a + b)
And f(a + b) = -3(a + b)
So f(a + b) = f(a) + f(b)
Have u got it, lawalx?
